About the event
Join us for an educational, guided tasting of Japan's oldest spirit: AWAMORI.
Awamori is a spirit, brewed and distilled in Okinawa, Japan.
With wild herbal and floral aromatics and a rich culture and history that predates whiskey, we will have plenty to discuss while tasting all the different ways Awamori is now enjoyed in Japan and abroad.
The night will start with a welcome drink - Orion Beer - also brewed and imported from Okinawa.
Once everyone has arrived we will settle in to enjoy Japanese snacks and learning all about the Awamori while tasting it, served five different ways.
At the end of the night, you will receive your own bottle of Shima Uta Awamori to take home, share with frineds, and enjoy your favorite way!
